For most of my career, I worked at large, traditional brokerages. I started in real estate when I was 17 years old in Washington State as a receptionist, and over the years worked my way up to becoming a Realtor.

When I moved to Vancouver in 2010, I continued working at one of the biggest companies in the area. I loved the business and the people, but over time I started to see the industry changing. Agents weren’t going into offices the same way, and technology was transforming how we serve our clients.

One summer evening I was sitting on my porch thinking about what the next chapter of my career should look like. Around that time I had started joining some women-led real estate Zoom calls in Washington, and I noticed something interesting, the majority of the agents I really looked up to were with Real Broker.

What stood out to me was the culture. It wasn’t about offices or hierarchy. It was about collaboration, supporting one another, and building a community where agents could grow.

That was the moment I knew it was the right move for me.
